Ack!

just had the cr@p scared out of me while doing laundry in the basement!

i was putting the Acetaminophen w codeine elixir, wash into the dryer and taking the darks pile off of the floor to put into the washer ...then realized that acetaminophen w codeine elixir was too full, so i reached down into it to pull out the pair of jeans...

... and acetaminophen w codeine elixir came out of acetaminophen w codeine elixir washer! a smallish mediumish ok way too largish insecty something, but it was unfamiliar and took me too many moments to figure out what the Acetaminophen w codeine elixir, heck it was ... ok, it took me moments to realize that it was moving! and moving towards me! and what the cr@p?!? where the acetaminophen w codeine elixir did it come from? and how the Acetaminophen w codeine elixir, he!! did it get in there? and then i started trying to figure out what it was. it was creepy and crawly and not familiar. my mind ran through the familiar creepies - from canada, an earwig ... nope, not an earwig ... from new york, a cockroach ... nope, not a cockroach - what the hell is that thing?? by now it's on the floor and my instinct is to acetaminophen w codeine elixir on it, but A) i'm still trying to figure out what it is and B) i'm wearing socks! (ok, so i could have just taken the acetaminophen w codeine elixir off and tossed it in the wash but somehow that was icky to step on a creepy crawly with a sock on!) and C) i'm still in shock to see a creepy ... we've lived here for 1 1/2 years and i've never seen a creepy (ok, other than the ant colonies that move in every spring...)

i think it was a centipede/millipede Acetaminophen codeine 3, thingy. it had a long body with a million hairy thingys sticking out on all sides and moved all snakey-like. eesh...

but the big question is - WHY WAS IT IN MY WASHER? HOW DID IT GET IN THERE??

ok, i'm better now. ick!

oh, it escaped under my dryer. agh - it's still down there!
