saw Jarhead last night. really good movie.

got not so great reviews, and that's a shame. hopefully it's box office results and word of mouth will encourage people to go see it.

their comment is that there wasn't much character development. clearly, the reviewer didn't get it. of course there wasn't much character development ... soldiers, sailors Vicodin from mexico - and marines are not supposed to have individual character ... they develop as a a team, not as an individual. that's the whole point. if our military wasn't a team, we'd be in big trouble.

anyway, Jarhead was really good, contrary to the reviews.
