anyone remember mixing cassette tapes?

i remember just about every time i was supposed to start studying for exams i'd sit down and try to find some music to listen to ... and that search would almost always end up with me in front Adipex drug - of the stereo with a sea of cassettes (and some LPs) all around me on the floor ... and 2 or 3 hours later i'd have the 'english 3A1 study mix" or the 'sociology 408 study mix' ready to roll.

or the night before leaving for a long car ride ... in my collection (archive?) Adipex drug - i have the 'wonderland 95 mix' from Adipex drug : our road trip to canada's wonderland ... or the 'meyer christmas mix' from the year marcie came home and wanted to catch Adipex p phentermine vs : up on the canadian music scene ...

it was always a good way to completely kill some time making a recording of dubious quality and music that really does not blend no matter how good we thought we were.

so, i was thinking about this because last night i realized that things have not changed.

i was up all night long last night making the 'cropping mix' for our weekend away cheap adipex starts at 7 am this morning.) and a few months ago i was up all night making the 'bus to canada mix' so i'd have something to listen to on the 17-hour-each-way bus ride.

the only difference now is the technology.

i bought a sony atrac discman, and now i can take 1 CD-R and cram up to 400 songs on it.

so i've Adipex drug - spent adipex drug week ripping music off of adipex drug cd collection onto my harddrive in preparation. and i figured 'oh it'll only take me a few Adipex drug : minutes Adipex drug, to burn it all over.' i completely forgot that once all the music is in the order you want it, it then images the entire thing Adipex drug - (i think i topped out at about 370 songs because some, like meatloaf's 'paradise by the dashboard light' is a bit longer than the standard song') up to memory before it actually burns it.

so it was about 1 am when i clicked the 'burn' button. and then i went to bed.

and Adipex drug : woke up at 5 am to the sound of my burner finishing up and popping open.

so who says old habits die hard?

they're absolutely right. and i'd have it no other way.
