well, it's finally friday.

worked until 8 last night ... and what a doozie.

i was diligently working on the schedules, marvelling at my young adult librarian's successful author visit earlier in the day. finished the schedules and deftly moved onto the easy book replacement list. within 4 titles of finishing the list, the fire alarm went off.

usually i curse a blue streak when the fire alarm goes off, but i'm trying really hard to curb the behaviour. luckily i'm getting better because i had a father and his daughter in front of me when it happened and that would not have been good. i dropped my head to the desk, got up and began to evacuate.

it was 7:45 by the time we were back in (that's actually quick!) then, 5 minutes later, a call from a staff downstairs to tell me adipex prescription the basement is flooding again. argh! so i called our facilities supervisor on his cell phone (as far as i'm concerned, if i'm at work so is he.) someone will be there in the morning? well i hope my new books that are being stored in the basement won't be ruined *sigh*

then ended with a shopping trip to target. got a caller id Didrex adipex, cordless phone. i haven't had caller id since moving here 6 years ago ... i'm so excited *hee hee* ... it's the little things in life, eh?
