whew.

managed to slog home through the blizzard.

when i got onto 55th street, i walked past a college residence and saw a bunch of guys standing in the middle of the street.

now let me explain. only the avenues have been plowed, not the cross streets. so the cross streets have effectively plugged off what with the 4 foot mounds of snow plowed into the openings. imagine the front of your driveway after the plow goes by, and then imagine your driveway as a street, and you'll understand.

so after watching several groups of guys help push stuck cars out of snow drifts, i was a bit curious as to what they were up to. i had to look down for a minute to keep my footing and that's when i heard it.

"hike!"

i looked up just in time to see the scrimmage in the middle of the lipitor weight loss and to avoid being tackled by 2 pick-up footballers flying over the sidelines onto the sidewalk.
